To save your visualization as an image, click File-->Export map...
Several formats are available, but the actual formats available will depend on your system and libraries you have installed. If VWTk fails to save to some format, it will tell you so. You should try saving in a different format if this happens to you.
The size of the image is limited only by the memory in your computer and that allocated to the Java Virtual Machine. See .
Note that this will export the map exactly as you see it. If you make some symbols invisible, they will not appear in the exported image.
